It Was Never Before..... :)

Let us start with Love... lot being written about it and lot... yet unexplored.. for everyone who has ever been in love has experienced it with a different look, different fragrance and this will continue... forever...... :)

I never used to have a sleepless night
Nothing visible was ever out of my sight
I was never so happy in this hot season
I never wept before.. without a reason :)

To meet someone, I was never so eager
Hours never went like seconds in front of a mirror!!

Oh my God!! Is it, Is it... Love ??
Soft as butter and tender as dove
Is it, I had heard so much about
Please send some angels to clear my doubt

Finally the showers of love are blessed on me
To get internal happiness, I feel, Love is the key
It's so enchanting, It's so magical
I used to think, it is boring and illogical

Apart from myself, I have someone else to adore
Oh my Heavens!! It was never before !!

Lost love..... :(

Its losing that has always provided Immortality to Love... Rich are the people who have ever loved but richer are the experiences of those who have loved..... and lost it.... Dedicating to the Unconditional and Never demanding feeling of love n sacrifice....

Long nights come and my fears are here
My silent tears wish if these nights were not there
Into the crowd and people, since morning, I just sink
Overburden myself to get no time to think

Late at night, I lay in bed to fall asleep
Try not to, but find myself, in memories so deep

A day you held my hand
A day you wiped my tears
A day you taught me maths
A day..... you left me with fears....

Alone.... I stand on the path we paved together
Happy in your world, you have no time to bother

I want to forget those endless talks
I want to forget those speechless walks
I want to forget the silent wishes we made
I want to forget the meals we ate

I want to forget the moments spent with you
I want to forget the love... I made to you !!

Shadow.... :)

Sometimes the support for a moment gives strength and faith for a lifetime.... strength to fight against any problem in any situation and faith in friendship and humanity.. And when we start naming that supporter, it seems as close to us as our shadow itself....:)

I walked on the path going against the air
Cherishers left behind, but a shadow was there
Doubts and fears though never said before
Silent and calm, she was there to adore...

Delighted with Success, whose?? we din't care
Sorrows and grief, she always grabbed my share
Could feel her presence all through the path I led
The sun was in bloom and it moved ahead..
To show me the path, To show me she cared
To show me the dreams I never dared

Who says?? Shadows are dull and leave you in dark
My shadow is my strength, It is my spark
The path is long... many milestones to retrieve
My shadow is with me and anything I can achieve.

मगर .......

कभी कभी किसी को ज़िन्दगी से अलग करना बहुत मुश्किल होता है। और उससे भी मुश्किल होता है उसकी यादो से अलग होना, उन बातो से अलग होना जो अनजाने में ख़ुद ही की ज़िन्दगी का एक हिस्सा बन गई थी। आज की और बीते हुए कल की ज़िन्दगी को ये 'मगर' ही तो अलग करता है। :)

आज भी आँखों को बस तेरी ही तलाश है
रोकते हैं फ़िर भी शायद दिल में बची एक आस है
जिंदा हैं क्योंकि साथ अभी भी साँस है
मगर अब तेरी मेरी बात नही होती॥

आँख खुलते ही आज भी तेरा चेहरा नज़र आता है
अब भी मेरी दुआ में तेरा नाम पहले आता है
रात के चाँद में तू अब भी उतर आता है
मगर अब तेरी मेरी बात नही होती॥

आज भी तेरी खुशियाँ मेरी ज़िन्दगी का मुकाम हैं
आंसू हों तेरी आँखों में, मेरी ज़िन्दगी की वो शाम है
आईने में दीखता वो अक्स आज जाने क्यों बेनाम है
मगर अब तेरी मेरी बात नही होती॥

भ्रम से अब जब निकले हैं सच को आज जाना है
वो रिश्ता और उस रिश्ते का हर सच कितना बेमाना है
जहाँ थे ही नही आज ख़ुद को वहां से हटाना है
मगर अब तेरी मेरी बात नही होती॥

बस यूँ ही.......

कभी कभी बस यूँ ही कुछ लिखते जाते हैं...ना वो ग़ज़ल है ना ही कविता.... ये तो बस यूँ ही ......:)

दिल की राहों पर चलते चलते
अक्सर राही खो जाते हैं।
पर ग़म के अंधियारों में ही तो
खुशियों के दीप झिलमिलाते हैं।

चुनी हो राहे कितनी ही जुदा मगर
साथ छुटा हो भले ही, प्यार टूटा न हो अगर
राहो के अनजाने मोड़ो पर
बिछडे हमसफ़र यूँ ही मिल जाते हैं।

सिले हुए से हैं ये अधर, पर आँखें सब कह जाती हैं
ढेरो ग़म ढेरो बातें उस नीर के संग बह जाती हैं
फ़िर से सपने खिलते हैं और दिल को भी ललचाते हैं
छोड़ पुराना संग बसेरा, हम आगे चलते जाते हैं॥

Dear Seniors... ;)

I was asked to sum up the experiences of our ragging period which I had to recite in our freshers' party... this poem is the outcome of that. Everytime I read it even today, after 4 years, it giggles me reminding me of all the fun n masti we had during our ragging period and also reminds me of the wonderful seniors I had!!

I want to thank all my seniors
For making us from good to superiors
We came here in single, dull colours
They guided us to new and exciting TRIcolours
Two days back, I went to meet my mother
Exclaimed she said, How could You afford to better your hair??

First few days of college were good
We were always in singing and dancing mood
Now I know how rich is my Indian culture
So beautiful, so simple, so easy is our Hindi Literature!!
Keeping eyes down and reading body expressions
Identifying Our seniors by their voice,sandils and Impressions

We all came here distinguishly and became alike
We shared with each other our likes and dislikes
We knew each other by merit and behaviour
And not by the clothes,accessories or style fever

Our seniors were somewhat like our mothers
Strict when not followed, otherwise sweet lovers
They kept us busy in our initial days
we'd no time to miss our family and parents

The overall effect of our seniors was soothing
It made the stagnant pond of our lives moving
You helped us in all ways possible to you
From my whole heart, I want to thank you

But Thanks is not that dignified to show our gratitude to you
we'll show our emotions next year by being just like you!!

Dear Mother :)

She is my hope, She is my motivation, She is my confidence, she is my inspiration. To see her happy is all that I want over anything... bcoz.. she is my mother.. my lifeline.....

You gave me so much of love
To make me fly like a dove
You taught me games
That brought me fame
You gave me toys
That became my joys

In your lap, I took birth, grew and develop
And reached the height of skies
Your affection made me to say
It is your lap where the heaven lies
Under your guidance, I got whatever I wanted
To take care of me, were you bonded?
Or it was a feeling from your inside
That was always along with me side by side

A little headache of mine made you weep
A small scratch on me made you feel a wound deep
My small winnings were great victories for you
My losses were a matter of great agony for you
When I was right, you appreciated me
And where I wrong, you showed the right way to me

You ate half of your meals
But made a flood of milk for me
You suffered pains and agonies
But provided high education to me
You served me not only as a mother
But also as a friend, as a teacher
Your heart has lots n pots for all
Your sacrifices have made me the best of rest of all

O mother! You have done so much for me
But can I do something for you
O mother! I love you
O mother! your heart is made of gold
O mother! you are the best creation of God!!

I Don't Know ??

This was with which I started writing, I was 14 then... full of questions, confusions, dreams.... n so much... time answered some of them.. n some... still left..:)

What I am I don't know

A dying star or the sun that brightly glows
A still pond or the river that always flows
Am I a living dead or just a machine
Or I am a strange object that noone could imagine

There is no enemy of mine but I have no friend
Am I useful for others or just a barren land
Am I a puzzle for others or an understanding object
Do I know what are my wishes and what is my subject

Am I a garland of flowers or a bunch of thorns
Or I am like a rose with a sweet smell as well as thorns
I don't know whether I am lucky or unlucky for others
Whether they also consider luck or about this they don't bother

I don't know others take me lightly or seriously
I also don't know whether I am beautiful or ugly
I don't know whether I am an object to be mocked at
Or I am a being that should be responded

I love others but I don't know whether they love me
They favour me or just criticise me
Whether they compare me with a hawk or a cuckoo
Or they just use me as a clue
I don't know whom I love loves me or not
whether I shall have a clear life or life with some spot

When I will grow what will I do
Would I just be married like other girls
Or I shall have the Right to do what I wish to do
Shall I spend all my life working for others
Or to do my work I would have to seek others

Would I have such a long life to become old
Would then I will have a past shining like gold
When I shall die I don't know
I would be burnt, buried
Or my body would be thrown as a garbage

If all this I don't know then what do I know
I am just aware of this fact of my life
That I shall work and work always
Till I am Alive !!
